About us

Our focus as a design consultancy is twofold: we want to be both our clients’ partner and an advocate for their customers. Therefore, in order to fully apply our experience and knowledge we need to understand your company, your business and your target group. Our approach is pragmatic and goal-oriented.

We have been working for renowned interactive agencies for more than ten years, creating visual identities and environments for international brands.
While working in advertising and branding agencies, we learned all about integrated communication and brand development. Today, we use this expertise to provide a dynamic and flexible branding and design approach that also addresses the requirements and possibilities of social media and personalised online media as well as the potential of multimedia environments and public space design.

Founded in Berlin in early 2010, think moto specialises in strategic consulting coupled with a high standard of design.

Katja Wenger / creative partner

worked during her studies as a designer for various agencies specialised in graphic and exhibition design. From 2001 to 2005, she was Interactive Designer at GFT Media and from 2005 to 2006 Senior Designer at Pixelpark. Since late 2006 she has been working as a freelance Art Director for agencies such as Jung von Matt, BBDO Interone, Saatchi & Saatchi, MetaDesign, Peter Schmidt Group, Argonauten G2 and Aperto.

Katja Wenger received several honours, among others the red dot Award, the W3 Award of the International Academy of the Visual Arts and the German Designers Club (DDC) Award for Good Design.

Marco Spies / managing partner

studied German and English language and literature as well as philosophy at the Universities of Trier and Stirling, UK. After working as concept developer for Pixelpark in Berlin he went on to become Creative Director for Neue Digitale in Frankfurt/Main from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, he worked as a freelance consultant and Creative Director for various agencies and clients. From 2008 to 2009, he was Executive Director for branding agency Peter Schmidt Group (BBDO) where he managed the interactive design unit. In 2009 he held a position of visiting professor at the department of Interface Design at HTWG Konstanz (Hochschule Konstanz University of Applied Sciences). Marco Spies is a member of the DDC (German Designers Club) and author of Branded Interactions.
